Brief History:-13th Bn King's Liverpool Rgt 1914 October formed at Seaforth Barracks Salisbury Plain to Army Troops 25th Division November to Bournemouth in Billets 1915 February to 76th Brigade, 25th Division May to Aldershot September 27th landed at Havre, France October 15th; 76th Brigade, 3rd Division October 23 to 8th Brigade, 3rd Division 1916 April 4th to 9th Brigade, 3rd Division 1918 October 9th withdrawn to Flesquieres after heavy fighting, only 80 men strong - suffering heavy casualties - 139 October 12th played the 1st King's at football winning 2-1 October 22nd Advance to Victory - Final Battles Armistice 13th King's location November 11th — 9th Brigade, 3rd Division Le Grand Sart, east of Le Quesnoy, France |
