Report: Irwin's shop corner of Bridge Road and Croxteth Avenue. H.E. (high explosion) bomb. Casualties caused - 2 Fatal.
John (58) and Margaret Carroll (49) of 38 Bridge Road were killed in the blast.
The lorry is facing up towards Linacre Road. Croxteth Ave is to the right behind the cyclist.
