Looking up Violet Road from Akenside Street. The flood waters beginning to subside with a gushing manhole visible. The boys are standing at the spot were a cyclist was drowned. The water height at this spot reached a depth of 10 feet. The 'Cinder Path' leading to Wellington Road is on the left near to where the wheelbarrow is.
