Sapper
Stanley Corkhill, son of the late Mr. T. J. Corkhill and Mrs Corkhill,
of 59, Penrhyn Avenue, Litherland, joined the Territorial Army in May,
1939, and is now serving overseas. A former pupil of St Thomas' School,
Seaforth, he was greatly interested in the 40th Company of the Boys' Brigade
and was an officer with them for some years. |
Alec
Corkhill, brother of Stanley and a keen footballer, is also serving
with the Forces in the Royal Army Medical Corps. He was also educated
at St Thomas'.

Volunteer
Mary Corkhill, sister to Stanley and Alec, joined the W.A.T.S. in
December last year and is now stationed in Essex.
