Grant's Park was directly behind the Pump House, where the concrete wall is. The Pump House faced onto the back of Irving Street in the direction of the 'Cinder Path'. The row of houses to the left of centre is Palmerston Drive. Directly behind the trees to the left was the location of the demolished Palmerston Avenue, now the location of the Express Dairy, which has since closed.
